Legal
Privacy policy
Future Lens LLC ("Future Lens," "we," "us") is a video marketing studio in San Diego, California. This policy explains what we collect through futurelensllc.com, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill out a form or book a call, we collect what you enter: your name, email, phone number if you add it, business name, industry, website or social handle, budget range, timeline, the services you're interested in and any message you write.
Information collected automatically
- Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes basic technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so it can deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
- Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- We note the page you first visited and any campaign tags in the link you followed, such as utm_source, so we know how you found us. Your browser stores this on your device, and it's sent to us only if you submit a form.
We don't use analytics or advertising cookies right now. If we add them, we'll update this policy first.
How we use it
- To reply to you, schedule calls and prepare for them
- To send proposals and information you ask for
- To understand which channels bring people to us
- To keep the site secure and working
We won't add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask to be added.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that run parts of our business for us:
- Cloudflare hosts and protects this website.
- Notion is where we keep records of inquiries.
- Calendly handles scheduling when you book a call.
- Google Workspace runs our email.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies and Do Not Track
This site doesn't set tracking cookies. The booking calendar, provided by Calendly, may set cookies it needs to work. Because we don't track you across other websites, the site works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete them. If you become a client, we keep the records needed to run the engagement and meet our legal and tax obligations.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we have about you. Email phong@futurelensllc.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
California residents can ask whether we've shared personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing. We don't.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and isn't directed to children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of sending or storing data is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we'll update this page and the effective date at the top.
